This isn’t the ultimate ‘how-to’ guide but I’ll list what you need to do in order to get an income by using the Internet as a marketing tool.
You can find out EXACTLY what’s involved in each step by joining our newsletter where you’ll get information and videos … all free of charge, delivered to your inbox over the coming weeks.

Firstly, what are you interested in, what have you got a passion for?
This is where you need to start as, if you choose a subject that you’re not interested in, you’ll find it hard work and, eventually, give up on it.
Look at your subject or ‘niche’ and list what you know about it. Expand on this and make notes of what kind of articles you can write or have written about it.
Are there books on the niche? Is there any software on it … videos, audio, presentations … anything?
Find out the source of these products or services as you may become affiliated to them over time.
Once you’ve gathered together enough information to get started, you can set up a web site or blog.
To do this you’ll need web space and a domain name for your site.
Visit www.namecheap.com to get your name. You’ll need to register first and then find a domain name that suits your niche. If the name of your niche, service or product is in the domain name you choose, then that’ll be good for optimising your site for the search engines later on.
Visit www.hostgator.com for your web space. You’ll need to register and there is a monthly fee to keep your web space active. Your domain should cost around $10.00 while hosting can be as low as $7.00 a month. So for about $17.00 you can start your business once you’re on the Internet with your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
There are plenty of free or cheap website building software titles about. Even an old Microsoft Frontpage will do but newer titles have website templates already for you to simply fill in your words and images onto, so maybe use one of these.
Blogging is even easier, especially if you want to start for free. www.blogger.com or www.wordpress.com can help there. You can post to your hearts content and it won’t cost you a penny.
You will need an email address for customers to contact you. This is set up with your ISP (see above) or you can set some addresses up with your hosting account at Hostgator.
Post articles about your niche to your web site and add images, video on the subject and any other interesting facts and figures. Build it up over time. Most software packages automatically optimise your site while you work by asking for keywords and phrases to be entered as you go.
You can find video content on www.youtube.com and simply embed it onto you web page. Full instructions are available on the YouTube site.
When not posting to your site you should be writing articles to make up newsletters to send to your growing list of subscribers. What? Yes, this is where you need www.getresponse.com to set up an automated system in order to keep in touch with anyone who signs up to your newsletter, this is called an autoresponder. The one you’re now writing. Send the newsletter out about once every 10 to 14 days to keep them ‘hot’.
Meanwhile, find books that you can affiliate to www.clickbank.com and feature them on your site.
Add AdSense to earn revenue during each month http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/ads/ choose AdSense … you can join AdWords later when more experienced.
Follow instructions on how to paste the HTML code into your web page. Google have excellent guides for doing this and it’s free to join.
If you can’t write articles or features, go to www.elance.com and register. Put in a job for somebody to write these for you. There will be a small charge for this but you’ll get paid for your products eventually so it’s worth investing.
Go to your www.getresponse.com account and grab the code for your name capture applet. Paste it into your home page on your site. This is where people sign up to your newsletter.
Once your site is optimised with the search engines you should start getting traffic to your site. If the content on your site is original and interesting for those in your chosen niche, they’ll sign up for your newsletter. Give them a free report all about your niche which contains useful and valuable information. This can be set up automatically using your autoresponder ‘GetResponse’.
Your free report will be uploaded by you and downloaded by the people on your ever growing list of new subscribers.
Once your list of subscribers are in place, you can set up your autoresponder to send them your newsletters at the days intervals you choose.
Every five emails or so, send an email to your list that is selling something which will be of interest to them. They will buy from you as they are already trusting you with all that useful info you’ve been sending them over the weeks and months.
I was getting regular sales from my list even when it had just a couple of hundred members on it. Admittedly I was only selling reports at $7.00 each but you’ve got to start somewhere.
Getting traffic (visitors) to your site is paramount and there are various ways to do this. By submitting articles with your web details on them to article directories is a great idea. This causes a thing called viral marketing to happen. Your article is used by others and this drives traffic to your site.
More on this later in this issue.
Web 2.0 social sites are great to get involved with, too. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter etc..
Linking to other sites and having them link back to you is another good way of pleasing the search engines.
You don’t have to pay out fortunes on advertising in order to get traffic, it can all be done low cost, no cost when using the Internet.
Internet Marketing Bugle will cover this subject over the coming issues. Join now if you haven’t already. http://InternetMarketingBugle.com
Obviously, the more traffic you can get to your site, the more will sign up for your newsletter. It’s getting the attention of those who are interested in your chosen niche that is the main aim.
This is where your keywords or key phrases come in useful. You see, when somebody types something into the search box, they are looking for information about something. Imagine if you can capture those who are looking to buy. Well, optimise your articles and website for exact key phrases and you’re onto a winner. Appearing on the first page of the search results will result in more visitors to your site and, hence, more sign-ups for your email newsletter.
I, personally, am involved in quite a number of niches and I can get to the first page of the search engines with my chosen keywords within a few weeks and, sometimes, in just a day or so.
Once there, you just keep tweaking your site to keep it fresh, original and useful. If your content is appropriate to the search terms entered by your potential customer, you’ll be doing fine.
As I mentioned earlier, you can discover EXACTLY what to do by subscribing to IMB newsletter where several courses and videos are available to members over the course of the newsletters.

This was a very simple insight to earning some money on the Internet for those who’ve not yet started. I know many new-joins are with us and they tend to get ignored by those who have advanced knowledge of the whole Internet marketing thing … so this was for you.
The above is how it is done, yes, it sounds complicated at first but, when you look into it, study our ebooks and watch the videos, you’ll see that, in time, it all becomes clear.
You simply repeat all that you do for your first niche over again for your second niche. After a time you’ll have, say, 50 or 60 sites all pulling in AdSense, affiliate, product, service, membership! and, well, the list is almost endless, earnings.
You’ll only need one autoresponder, one ISP and one web space provider which shouldn’t cost you any more each month than you already pay. So the whole process becomes cheaper in the long run.
I know people who have hundreds of web sites and blogs and use the above steps in every case. Once learned, no matter which book you buy, they all say the same thing in a different way. The above steps are all you need to do in order to start up. Once started there are some tricks and tips with more being discovered all the time. That’s what makes Internet marketing so exciting in a business persons life. Join IMB today. http://InternetMarketingBugle.com
